Yasmin Farhatnia
CEO & Co-founder
Dr. Yasmin Farhatnia is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Platinum Medica. She has over 15 years’ of experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on minimally invasive medical device development, drug delivery device development for reproductive health and biosafety assessment of medical devices. Yasmin holds a PhD in nanotechnology and regenerative medicine from University College London (UCL), MSc in Bioengineering and Medical Imaging (UCL) and BSc (Eng) in Medical Engineering (Queen Mary, University of London). She is also an honorary lecturer at UCL and industry advisory board member at Queen Mary University of London.
Matthew Garner
Strategy & Finance Director
Matthew Garner is an experienced serial entrepreneur who has built and run several successful startups. He holds a degree in business administration and economics from the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business, as well as a degree in physics and Spanish from Weber State University.
Dr. Torath Ameen
Chief Medical officer
Dr. Thorath Ameen is a Urological and Robotic Surgeon and holds BMedSci in Molecular Therapeutics (Queen Mary, University of London), MBBS (Barts and The London), MSc Surgical Innovation (Imperial College London), MRCS (Royal College of Surgeons, England) and FRCS Urological Surgery (Royal College of Surgeons, England).
Maria Mukoed
Biomedical Engineer
Maria Mukoed is focused on research, development and design of medical devices. She holds a first-class MEng degree in Medical Engineering from University of Swansea.
AmirAli FardHabibi
Co-founder & Chief Operations Officer
AmirAli FardHabibi is experienced in banking, finance, management, and petrochemical commodities. He holds a BA in Global Business Management and Finance from Regent's University London.
